Advancing the practice of
mechanical engineering
across the Emirates.
A chartered community of Filipino mechanical engineers in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah — keeping professional licences current, standards sharp, and the fraternal bond of the profession intact since 2007.
A chapter built on site experience, professional standing and fraternity.
The PSME UAE Chapter was organised in 2007 by a small group of Filipino mechanical engineers working on Abu Dhabi's industrial and infrastructure programmes. What began as a monthly gathering in a Deira function room is now a chartered chapter representing more than a thousand licensed mechanical engineers employed across the Emirates' energy, construction, facilities management and manufacturing sectors.
The chapter exists to protect the value of the profession abroad. We verify membership against PRC records, run accredited continuing professional development seminars so members can renew their Philippine licences without interruption, and maintain a working relationship with the Philippine Consulate General and with UAE employers who hire from our roster. Every seminar, plant tour and outreach activity is documented and reported back to the national society in Manila.
“A licence earned in Manila should mean something in Dubai. Our work is to make sure it does — through competence, documentation and community.”
What the chapter is here to do.
Three commitments guide every seminar, plant tour and assembly we hold across the Emirates.
Mission
To advance mechanical engineering competence among Filipino practitioners in the UAE through accredited education, technical exchange and disciplined professional practice.
Vision
A recognised benchmark of Filipino mechanical engineering excellence in the Gulf — where chapter membership signals verified competence, ethics and readiness.

- Integrity — sign only what you have verified.
- Competence — CPD is a duty, not a formality.
